JUNIOR CLASS Even though the Juniors were confronted by the problem of raising funds for the Junior-Senior Banquet, they had already accomplished a great deal. This year they sponsored Joe Barker and his Chuckwagon Gang which brought enjoyment to those who attended the program. Helping Uncle Sam by picking apples, followed by a Weiner frazzle was loads of fun. Also they had a square dance to relieve the tension of school work. They were proud that the football queen and a cheerleader were chosen from their class. Then too, members of the class participated in such activities as Hi-Y, Varsity Sub-Deb, Girl Reserves and all the musical organizations. 16 The 1943 Echo
