.geniot elau ptolniecy I was home on my summer vacation and decided to look up some of my class buddies. Much to my surprise l found Gladf Good taking care of her ten little ones--horses I mean. She owns the Green- bush riding stables. She told me that Ken Hall was still trying to build the perfect zip-gun to use in violating. Then l went to Lincoln. There l found that Jerry Yerman had taken over his father's ranch and was ,busy teaching his three little cowboys how to lasso girls like Clara. Jerry iust can 't get along without Dick Geor , so he hired him as handyman. Then lbumped into Margie l'lart - now Karsen. She has rea y put to work being chief-cook and bottle-washer while she tends the eight little Kasens. Arlene Struthers is still trying to get a iob as Ray's private secretary. Heard that Mary Jo Hanchett is still going to Bay City Junior College, not necessarily for study, there's a real cute Professor there who still has a bachelor's degree. Poor Janice Jamieson. She's still trying to make her little Wilbur wake up, but it 's no longer a play. Evelyn Webb is happily married to Jim and living in Detroit. He Finally got a convertible so the moon could do its work. Gloria Ki lboum has converted the gas station iritaa self-service business. Their kick do real well at being car hops. l thought l would drop in on Pauline Ginder. lfound her iust keeping the home-fire burning. She was so confused that she decided to be an old maid. Being an old maid, she told me the latest gossip. She said that Bob Emerick has taken over his father's fann--not a bad iob though. l'le does the cooking while Janice Weinber , now Emerick, does the plowing. Pauline said Merle Good is working for the Bell Telephone ompany in Detroit and using the company phone to call up all his girls. She said Narie Dewey is married to Glenn and living in Flint. They seem to be doing very well. They have two children and a new '66 stationwagon. l iust picked up the New York Times the other day and read where Billy Joe Trantham has iust been hired at the Metropolitan Opera tbuse. Don't get excited, he's only ianitor working up to singer. We hear Darlene McGuire is an X-ray technician and uses the skill in looking for money in her husband's clothes. Connie Stewart is married to Elmer and is living in Flint. They have four little Jones' I heard that Jim McGillis is now in the navy. They really keep him busy swabbing the deck. Then l went back to Mikadop there I met Lillian Sands in the restaurant. She is now employed at the Wurtsmith Air Force Base, says she keeps busy--even on her time off. 'lhen I dropped in on my old pal lrvin NlcGuire. He is trying to pay for a new Chevrolet that won't run. He isn't married yet, but still figures on it. He doesn't drink or smoke but he has a bad habit of chewing. lrvin told me that Marvin McGuire is finally married to Jean Frayer. We don't know whether the marriage will succeed or not, as Jean has a crush on Marv's brother Jerry. From lrvin's, I went to Glennie and while driving around there, imagine my surprise when l spotted a chinchilla farm on what dad's farm. They still are arguing over who gets to use the car. Dick Tarr is working on Diesel engines in Chicago. He has invented a new-tangled engine run by atomic energy. Bert Williams is a captain in the navy. We want to congratulate you, Bertp we know it was rough going. Dave Jones is still working at Quick's Gas Station and is married. l wonder who the lucky girl is? Charlotte McGre is married to her soldier and raising a platoon of her own. Brenda Herman is the star girl 'asketball player at CMC No wonder though, with a coach like Bob. Mary Carter is nursing at Saginaw and still waiting for that letter every day from Jim. Maybe someday she will get that special one. Donna Sweet has the real life role, now, of the senior play, but hc changed it to Just wait'til Forrest hears about this . 27 used to be the Wallace farm. l found Durell has taken it over and is considered the most eligible bache- lor. Durrell told me that Bob Grgy is married to Edna Phillips and is working on a partnership basis on his
