Leerning Tne Trieke of 204!VO AG tne Trede Seminole Veeetienel Edueetienel Center By Karen Getz Preparing for life in a vocational career requires special training and practice which students who at- tended the Seminole Vocational Education Center spent their year perfecting. For two periods a day, students learned through demonstrations and pro- jects the skills of their chosen trade. The opportunity to gain hands-on experience provided students with a feeling of accomplishment and taught them to take pride in their work. Students had their choice from a myriad of courses including Diesel Engine Mechanics, Small and Large Animal Services, Carpentry, and Floral Design and Marketing. Having the chance to acquire experience in a practical field was not only enjoyable for those who participated, but also beneficial. With the in- struction students received it was easier for them to find employment and they learned about the advan- tages of teamworkesomething they can use for a Concentrating on getting just the right angle is lifetime.
