Recognizingi I Talent By Bill Whalen Displaying a real talent foriper- forming is what the Drama Club did best. These students did not often receive the recognition they deserved for devoting the time it took to mount a production. They had to make the costumes they needed in order to put on well- staged performances. The Drama Club was for any students who wanted to get in- volved with acting or stage pro- duction. Students studied and trained for the play The Match Maker. Athletics was not the only com- petition at our school. In Febru- ary the Drama Club attended dis- trict conference at Lakewood High School. In April, they also attended Dunedin High School at the district level. Later they at- tended the state competition at the University of Florida. The dedication and involve- ment of Mrs. Webster as well as the students was the key to a suc- cessful year. They deserved a standing ovation! Doug Sigouin, Ken Madden and Brit Kohlschreiber display the more gruesome side of theatrical props. R
