Lots of Pride 81 Pizzaz The Junior Varsity Cheerleaders worked hard to sup- port the JV Football and Basketball teams. The J .V cheerleaders had a lot of spirit, said captain Lara Shiver. These young cheerleaders were not always recognized by the rest of the student body, but they prac- ticed almost everyday after school and worked hard to- ward their own goals. The girls helped raise money by selling such items as cushions and pom-poms before home football games. Sponsor Susan Yormark said of them, They weren't in the limelight as much as the Varsity Cheerleaders, but they never got discouraged, and they all gave IOOCZQ to J .V Cheerleading.
