Style Makes a World of Dzjjference Fads and fashion have always been a favorite pastime of stu- dents. Fashions from the past decades such as the popular haircut of the l950's, the flat top, was back in style. Senior Chris McCann said It's a lot cooler for football, easy to take care of and it looks neat? Stone washed jeans. jackets and dresses were the biggest items to hit the fashion world for teens. Senior Tracey Talora said I like to wear stone washed clothes because they're comfortable and stylish. Solids and stripes have al- ways been in fashion for the men. Long sleeve oxford shirts with vertical stripes or plain col- ors along with rolled up pant legs just above the ankle bone, was the casual and comfortable attire for the guys. Bright colors and black were in popular de- mand by the ladies. A fluffy skirt with a petticoat and an off the shoulder dress t-shirt, mod- eled by Senior Michelle Maurer, and the knee length skirt with a sleek dress jacket, modeled by Senior Leslie Vaughn, were the fashions for the more daring and outrageous go getters. Mrs. Alfaro, Spanish teacher, added, I love to see the changing styles and I like to dress in fashion myself .iThe differences in styles make the difference in people. Chuck Beck, Joe Woodward and Gene Yauchler like casual clothes left: Red bright- ens Michelle Maurer and Graham Bowman. I, 8lFashion A eggs: l. 1 l Suspenders and rolled cuffs caught the eye of Geraldo Roberts. UU. Stone washed is the choice of Beth Keglor and Tracey Talora.
