In May 1970, each class elected three delegates to the Osceola Student Council Assem- bly of Representatives. During the summer, the council had several meetings to plan activ- ities for the coming school year. Later in the year, OSCAR im- proved and added to their previ- ous plans. Such events as lyce- ums, Homecoming, a Christmas Party, and Snow Days were part of the activities for the 1970- '71 school year. The purpose of OSCAR is to provide communication between the students and the administra- tion with the hope of developing better understanding and cooper- ation.
