Mr. Graff, counselor, also teaches Skills for the Adolescence to his seventh grade class. Mrs. Wheeler Louise Wheeler has been OHS school secretary for ten years. Her job consists of being School Board Secretary, in addition to her daily duties, which include: Keeping records of all activity accounts, paying all school bills, and punching and selling lunch tickets. Mrs. Wheeler finds it quite an education watching all of his students go through the OHS school system. Mr. Habben For OHS principal, Jon Habben, a lot of surprises were eliminated during this, his second year. As principal, Mr. Habben is responsible for the instructional supervision, curriculum, structure, and organization of the school. In addition to being principal, Mr. Habben is the athletic director, and has been head wrestling coach for 15 years. Mr. Graff Mr. Graff, Osceola High School counselor, has been teaching at OHS for the past 4 years. Mr. Graffs classes include: psychology, sociology, and Skills for the Adolescence. Much of Mr. Graffs time is spent on extra curricular activities such as head football coach, assistant boys basketball coach. Jr. high boys basketball coach, and junior class sponsor. Mr. Sipes Mr. Sipes, a thirty-three-year veteran here at OHS, is the OHS superintendent. He is responsible for the general operation of the school. Along with making reports to the Nebraska Department of Education. Mr. Sipes reports to the North Central Association to make sure the school meets their accredidation standards. In addition he is also responsible for the school calendar, the nomination of all personnel into the school system, and he is the agent for the school board in business matters. 18 Osceola Splash ’n Dash

Bus Drivers Bus Drivers: Will Stephans, Bill Johansen, Blaine Tonniges, and Bob Grosniklaus. Not pictured: Tom Peterson. Custodian John Cerny has been employed by Osceola Public Schools for 31 years. John is the head custodian; he is responsible for ordering all supplies, for up keep of all maintenance and for taking care of concessions for ball games. Custodian Bill Zedicher has been employed by Osceola Public Schools for 15 months as a custodian. His duties include cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and general maintenance for both the elementary and high schools. Polk County Clinic 19
