The senior Class Play, Roomers, was performed on November 16, 1984. Directed by Mrs. Er-hart, the comedy proved to be a success with the audience. The play was set in a boarding house in New York, and concerned all of the characters that live there. Some of the stranger boarders were a non-English speaking alien, a health nut, a Country Western singer, a gross and disgusting cook who eats everything in sight, and an aspiring actress. The Seniors who performed these roles did a super job of portraying these unusual characters. Seniors in the play that were not pictured on these pages were: Pat Reisdorff, Paula Johnson, and Chad Conkling. Above left; Dana Jo practices her singing. Two One-Acts for Juniors The Junior Class Play, directed by Mrs. Erhart, was held on Friday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m. They presented two one-act plays. All the cast members worked hard at practices for successful plays. One play was Mark Twain in the Garden of Eden. The setting was in the Garden of Eden where Mark Twain is with Adam and Eve in the beginning. Mark also meets the serpent, tourists, and birdwatchers. The play was a modern play, compared to the Bible version. The second play was The Capricious Pearls. The setting for the first scene was in the gangsters hideout where they were contemplating on how to get the pearls they had hidden a couple of years ago. Scene Two took place in an old ladies home. The ladies were having tea when the gangsters try to sneak in and get back their valuable pearls. Clockwise from right; Serpent (Stacy Meis-ter) tries to coax Eve (Lori Reisdorff) to eat an apple from the forbidden apple tree (Sean Cable). Mrs. Plunkett, Maude, Mrs. Landrum, and Mrs. Hildebrand, (Susan Cerveny, LeAnn LeSuer, Renee Bartak, and Joan Sigler), discuss having tea and cake in the library. Mark Twain and the Birdwatchers (Allen Sculley, Kim Cerveny, and Lois Kresha) try to decide which way to the whirlpool. Little Auggie, Lefty, and Clarence (Bob Nitsch, Kraig Kuhnel, and David Andelt) stand at attention. Lefty, Boss, (Sean Gabel) and Little Augie look for the big gold chair where the pearls are hidden.
