Homecoming took place on September 21st, 1984. Students were dismissed from everyday classes to work on floats. This took place at various sites on the school grounds. The theme for the parade was Songs, so students spent the day working on Jump, Stairway to a Victory, and Bulldogs Will Rock You Like a Hurricane. At 2:00, the parade began, led by the High School Band. Fol- lowing the band, were the Queen and King candidates Deb Burritt, Angie Langer, Becky Theis, Chad Conkling, Rusty Dunn, and Matt Peterson. Accompanying the candidates were the crown bearers, Dena Gissler and Aaron Watts. After the parade, students dismantled the floats, and then went home to prepare for the game and dance that evening. » m Clockwise from left; The Eighth Grade listen to Mrs. Peterson give instructions.
