Pep rollies helped spork spirit and let rhe reams know rhar rhe srudenr body was behind them Rallies were a chance for all students, 712, to cheer for rhe high school orhleres Pep rallies were sometimes held during rhe first 20 minutes of school, and some during the lost 20 minutes of school, bur whenever they were held, they proved to be fun and exdring Cheerleaders were responsible for planning pep rallies during football and volleyboll season, bur during boskerball and wrestling season, rhe dosses were in charge of one rally each The sophomores pur on a Victory skit At rhe next rally, seniors held various contests between the dosses Juniors also held contests, and freshmen Spirit Club girls did a skit where they portrayed rhe freshmen guys. Two hour practices were held starting August 15rh When school starred, practices begon or 7 a.m and went through first period These two and a half hour practices really paid off when Harvest of Harmony rolled around. The bond received a raring for field marching, and a 2 raring in street marching. They missed the rop rating by two points behind Gibbon. At the Pershing Marching contest the band received a 7 raring.
