This year the freshmen entered the halls of OHS not as the terrified teeny-boppers of the past, but as an unmoveable force. This was due largely to the restriction of the traditional freshmen initiations. The freshmen class has become involved in many activities including vocal music, band, pep club, dramatics, and sports. The freshmen basketball team won their game with Columbus, and with the help of the sophomores were able to capture first place at the Sophomore-Freshmen tournament. The volleyball girls had a 2-3 record. The 47 freshmen are all anxiously and eagerly looking forward to the three more exciting years at OHS. Mr. Marquart and Mr. Schaeffer acted as sponsers for the class.
