H. S. They really didn't know what to expect after starting all over and being the lowest class once again. Most of them were half-scared to appear every morning for classes, but later they found out it wasn't all that bad. After awhile when they were just getting to like the upperclassmen the bon-fire came. All the freshmen were informed to wear their walking shoes and I'm sure they’re all glad they did. After that night it took a week or two for people to get back on speaking terms. The class of 1978 is very energetic and enthusiastic. 20 Amity Lanes The girls actively involved themselves in singing groups, track, volley-ball where they had a successful season with a record of 4-1, and pep club where they contributed a lot of UMPH! The boys were involved in singing groups, football, wrestling, track and basketball with a record of 1-1. During one 6-weeks period or another there were almost 50°]o of the freshmen named honored students. The class has had a lot of fun and excitement in their first year of high school. They've made it this far and are looking forward to years to come. Osceola Body Shop

Meet New Experiences A year ago the class of '77 entered O. H. S. as a group of pretty shakey kids, but after almost two years, they have found high school life exciting, and not something to worry about. They went from fear-filled freshmen to sophisticated sophomores. Compared to last year this year has been a bit more lively. For example, the only wrestling to go to State competition was sophomore Dale Runquist, which must be quite a thrilling experience.
