Seniors Sneak At 5:00 a.m. on May 5, two chartered buses carrying OHS seniors and their sponsors, Mr. Ken Sipes, Mr. Larry Theis, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Sterup, and Mrs. Bill Zedicher, headed for Lake Okoboji at Arnold's Park in Iowa. As rain poured down the closer they got to their destination everyone thought the whole day was ruined. But surprisingly enough, not one drop of rain was felt the To Lake Okoboji whole time they were there. The sneak day was spent riding exciting rides on the midway, roller skating and browsing and buying in souvenier shops. About 5:00 p.m. the weary seniors loaded the buses and rode in rain all the way home. Everyone agreed that their sneak trip was a fun-filled ex perience. 10

Juniors Create “Blue Hawaii” The beautiful and enchanting Hawaiian Islands provided the setting for the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom '72. The April 29th event began as the newly arrived visitors to Blue Hawaii” were greeted with the traditional lei from servers clad in Polynesian regalia. A scrumptious luau feast followed.The class wills and the class prophecy were then read, and were succeeded by Mr. Heine, who gave the evening’s talk. Following the luau, Blue Hawaii was visited by Fate and dancing 'midst an atmosphere of swaying palms and a frothy ocean was the climax to an enticing evening. 11
