'BuMx) Our fine little fellow, the bulldog, graces our book and as we look at him throughout the pages, we are reminded of all the wonderful times we have had at Osceola High School this year. But let's look just at our bulldog. Of course, we recognize him as our mascot. I doubt if we could have an athletic contest of any sort without realizing this. We bulldogs should stop a minute and think, just why we are bulldogs, and for what do we stand? It is true we are bulldogs because this is a part of our school heritage; indeed, we are lucky to be given such a grand name. It is a fitting name only if we live up to it. We too must be courageous and fight for what we think is right. We will never stand idly by and watch our freedoms taken from us because of our lack of courage or cowardice. We shall truly find happiness only when we are dedicated, loyal and obedient to God. Our way will be loving and friendly, casting no man aside. We will be unselfish, trustworthy, forgiving, and faithful to all our acquaintances and in all of our dealings. The bulldog is courageous, going forth fearlessly to do what is right. He is loyal and obedient to his master and family. He is loving and shows friendliness to all he encounters. He is unselfish, faithful, and trustworthy, having the intelligence and stamina to complete a task. We would do well to take our bulldog characteristics with us after graduation and practice them is our every day living, no matter how big are our goals and dreams. Yes, we have a lot to live up to with a name like bulldogs. But then, we have a lot for which to live. Our goals now may be, or seem to be, as far away as the stars. But shoot hig so long as we never forget to pray to God for guidance and be humble enough to ask forgiveness for if He is with us I know our actions will show all the Bulldog traits. raraHfHiajajaraJHJHrajajaiHrarara HJHrarajarajararajajHjajH Stratton QjhuJJ C? —cdJ O c o tcmy 7 v Z Jj,,t0rCAy- —£o CL, a eAjy- oUjO£Ajt O ?y _Z‘ZjC zA t , (f rx u a dCjCL JjL j QyrtXjC -j£ zj£j A uixtly ' l_£UM-, y A-A-UA-fZJ y C4jodj C0ry2AcJUfies??z£ _ c -zy -cc, dctsr?w cz£jcdco GjCjC, jC i£j AjlJZ zJ d ijoC yxjuucXjCoriJZC Ccua yt ctsCru CA CJ 2j2Su CJ p jtjCZj£ y Cyy AjL Z Cij(zxj£, ' 4tyn -CcMSty yZL. j £ O- cAJ 2yt2U risQjiAJ, —Ctyyz tL,CZL2JuL CL JL CSulj xju jeuaa, 'yzctjb ' AAjt u jt D Cy?
