Richard Iwan was especially known for his voice. His classmates never got tired of one tone of voice, because like the Nebraska weather, we just waited for a minute and it changed. He is a very likeable guy, and even though he is ornery he has a lot of friends. He joined the football team in his fourth year. Unless he changes his mind, he will soon be in the Armed Service after he graduates. Jerry Johansen was always seen batting around in his Ford. He was out of school for quite a while because of an accident that affected, his eyes. He returned at the beginning of the second semester to liven our class up again. His future includes farming. GERALD JOHANSEN WAYNE JOHNSTON Wayne Johnston was a Gridiron attendant this year. He was one of die more quiet members of the class who didn’t seem to get into too much trouble. Wayne is a friendly guy and we know he will be successful at any job he undertakes. This was our Grid-Iron Queen, Joyce Jones. Joyce was very busy in high school, being the President of F.H.A. and class President during her Junior year. She had an interest in music for she played the French horn in the band and sang in the chorus. She hopes to become a nurse after she is out of school, and we know that with her personality she shouldn’t have a very hard time of it. V JOYCE JONES ROSALIE KRESHA This friendly senior girl Rosalie Kresha always had a smile and a compliment for everyone. Rosalie has been a member of chorus. Pep Club, and F.H.A. She played the part of Grade May in the Junior class play. She plans to be a teacher in the future. Janelle Kuhnel was a cheerleader during her Junior and Senior year. She played first chair trombone in the band and sang in the choruses. Janelle made use of her literary ability by being assistant editor of the Mike and layout editor of the annuaL She was Osceola’s representative at Girls’ State. She has been the secretary and treasurer of F.H.A. during the past two years. Her future plans are to get a job. JANELLE KUHNEL
