“Donna Carlson, Grid-Queen of 52, was offered a movie contract. Suprisingly, she declined this offer and chose to continue her work as librarian at Nebraska Love Memorial Library. Jenonne Dawes is certainly busy. She is the Polk County Extension Agent now and is hurrying to prepare for the 4-H entries at the county fair. No doubt you have read in the sports news about Alfred Hanson. While visiting friends in Switzerland he became interested in skiing. The latest reports from his doctor are that his leg will be healed in time for him to participate in the Winter Carnival. Richard Miller is still taking orders, but just from his old pal. He is a butler for Senator Marak. One member of this class is fond of children. Carlene Dinges is matron of the St. Mary's Orphanage in Denver, Colorado. Bryan Nelson’s practicing has certainly proved worthwhile. He is touring the Middle-West playing his Trumpet. Jean Richards, efficient typist of The Mike, is one of the staff members of Good Housekeeping . What a class! ! Yours truly, Believe It or Not CLASS WILL We the class of 53 do proclaim this to be our last will and testament and leave to the juniors our abilities, as follows: Jo Ann Wieseman to Ruth Sigler my watch, so Ruthis won't always have to ask what time it is. Yvonne Anderson to Alys Wobig, my ability to eat and stay slim. Richard Miller to Alton Johnson my height so he can get those under the basket shots. Jim Pulliam to Robert Colby, my driver’s license to be used only when Willard is driving behind you and my ability to get in early and stay in ( no bedroom windows, please). John Miller to Willard McKeag, my ability to be quiet!! Carlene Dinges to Shiela Youngdahl, my ability to get in fights while I'm going steady . So you and Dennis don't get along so smoothly. Donna Carlson to Marcia Burritt, I will more luck with a Dick than I've had. Jenonne Dawes to Nancy Johnson, my ability to wear a skirt and blouse to school so you can throw away some of your jeans. Jean Richards to Beverly Bush, my ability to take dictation. Anita Branting to George Brown, my ability to play piano, something to keep him occupied.
