FLORA EASON Attendant BETTE CURLING Queen SHARON WILLIAMS Attendant With the ball tucked under his arm, Kenny Davis moves up for a gain against Fishburne after getting a block from Ed Beard. Each year, the S. C. A. strives to outdo itself from the year before, when Homecoming rolls around. Plans begin far in advance for the parade, football game, half time program, and the dance. Classes, clubs, businesses and other organi- zations donated beautifully decorated floats and cars to the parade this year. The Home- coming Queen, Miss Bette Rae Curling, with her two attendants, Flora Eason and Sharon Williams, was crowned by Captain Baker before the game began. During the half-time, the band presented a unique program which sati- rized the different phases of the life of an alumnus. Fishburne Military Academy won by a score of 19-14, but this did not dampen the spirits of those who enjoyed music by The Knights at the Homecoming Dance sponsored by the Beta Club. When this Tiger was finished, it was used on the field for the team to burst through. Jimmy Fentress, Diane Madrin, and Carol Mizelle did the art work.
