Many of the regulars from last year's team were back. But, bad luck began to take over. After winning the first game at Suffolk, injuries began to pile up in practice and games. Slowly the chances for a championship team .5 slipped away. They got a big boost when they beat Granby in an exciting game. In losing the Hermitage game, the boys seemed to lack something. In the next game, Mr. Harrison's boys ruined Cradock's home-coming by beating them. Then they began a home stand during which they played their last four games. In the nrst two home games, they lost to William Fleming and Hampton.
