I I 1 The Smith High School S. C. A. is alliliated with the District Student Cooperative Associa- tion and the Tri-C Organization. As is true every year. there were many projects set up by these organizations. Some that were stressed particularly were a safety program and the Code of Ethics and honor system. Freshman Orientation was tried for the first time. The Freshmen were introduced to the school. receiving helpful instructions to assist them in their first year in high school. As soon school was underway. the sale of booster tickets for football season began. A contest was held between Mrs. Babb and Miss Price and their teams. with Miss Price's team winning Homecoming was a big project. with plans for the parade. game and dance. Participation came from students all over the school. Members of the S. C. A. served as guides for Open House and Career Day. and a sale of T. B.
