Approximately 600 individual snowflakes were carefully cut out and decorated. What appeared to be a forest of trees was set up and sprayed with white paint. Sequins were placed in the bark of the whitegtrees. Pine and cones were gathered as decorations for the ledges. Many cones were sprayed with red and white paint and arranged as attrac- tive settings for each table. Screens were made to create a more effective atmosphere with the spot lights. The effect of snow was gotten by placing sheets under and around the trees. The scenery was highlighted by a mar- ble fountain amidst a cluster of lights and pine trees. We Walked :bro a Wrhfer Wonderland Upon entering this precisely finished setting, one felt he was stepping into a glittering winter fairyland. The overhead was covered by sparkling snowflakes. dang- ling from what appeared to be a dark and wintery sky. They added a brilliant backdrop to the snow-be-fallen Snow Flake Ball. The wintery appearance that pine and white birch trees presented was emphasized by the layers of snow beneath the trees and by the snow men place cards, who stood eagerly searching for their namesakes to come and claim them. 55.
