With the mysterious, life-size Buddha sitting at the foot of a background of huge mountains, an oriental atmosphere was very effectively obtained at the Junior Dance. Upon entering. one crossed an attractive bridge covered with grass and surrounded by sand and flowers. The Buddha was the center of attraction, The mystic tigure of Buddha gazes on the festivities in the Garden of Shrangri-la. 'b 4' Q - 'QL' ig 4, 'E and it was the first thing one saw upon entering the Garden of Shangri-la. Chinese lanterns were hung about on the walls, and several bare trees, which sported only a few pieces of tinsel each. were placed here and there. Carlton Jemigan, Pat Cooper, Alvin McClenny, Nancy'Parker, Mary Neal Stevens, and Otis Brimm stroll across the bridge entwined with vines of ivy.
