A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENOENT It is very difficult tor a high school Senior to know what kind of world he or she will have to live in. I sincerely hope, however, that while we remain aware of the necessity of meeting a changing civilization that Smith High School students will never forget that the fundamentals of civilization do not change. Honor, integrity, decency, Christian charity, and good will toward men are as important today as they were yesterday-and as they must be tomorrow. Throughout the revolutions that have en- gulfed western civilization mankind has always held on to these ideals and though we walk through trials and ditticulties our duties to these ideals are ever clear. I trust that as you walk out of this building as graduates you will always remem- ber that the true end of all our eFForts as men and women should be to walk the earth with dignity, striving for the right as God gives us to see the right.
