DEDICA TION Looking back on the year now ending, we see a member of the faculty who has worked continuously this year and in past years to make Osbourn High School the outstanding school that it is. His friendly disposition and his emphatic NO!”, have become trademarks of a well-rounded personality. Sincere in his work and dedicated to the fundamental principles of the teacher, he ever extends a helping hand to those students who seek out his help. Mr. William H. Wood, Principal The calendar theme selected by the staff of the 1964 Hi-Jacket is certainly an appropriate one, for a calendar is a constant reminder to each student that time is a hard master. The days, the weeks and the months of the 1963-1964 school year have slipped by, never to be retrieved, and for all of us there is the haunting realization that time has passed us by with our failures and halfaccomplishments. But the calendar promises that time is also a kind master with the days, the months, and the years of our lives lying blank and untouched before us. It is my sincere wish for each student who is remaining and for each graduating senior who is leaving Osbourn that the calendar of the future will be filled with success and happiness. 6
