DEDICATION The welfare of children has always come first in this person's life and always will. Because of this concern, he has complete understanding of students with whom he has worked. As the astronaut learns the instrument panel of his satellite, so does this person work doubly as hard to understand his students and fellow faculty members. The comprehensive effort that this individual has placed upon all areas of school life can be compared to that of America’s first astronaut. In both areas each has made his lasting contribution which has opened the door to further advancement in many areas. His idea in the athletic field of Osbourn has become a reality as the dream of space travel. He has set marvelous examples of good sportsmanship and citizenship both on and off of the athletic field. This person is one of Osbourn's valuable assets. Every boy in school who has ever participated in any athletic event knows him as a coach and friend as well as a classroom teacher. We are sincerely grateful to Mr. Wildman for his immense contributions that he has made to our lives. We dedicate this 1962 Hi-Jackct to Mr. Charles Wildman.

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Another year has passed rapidly and you are enjoying your senior year at Osbourn. I know that many of you are anticipating with joy the approach of graduation day. You will each go your separate, chosen way. However, you will each have a common purpose in life, no matter what your choice of livelihood will be. These common purposes will be to follow your own religion, to become a citizen who responds to your community needs, and to be a very significant force in your own family. It is my desire that you not consider your graduation date the end of your formal education. Our world today requires that all of us must continue to expand our formal learning in order to keep abreast of changing times. The mental discipline which you have received in the classroom is just a beginning; it is a mold which needs constant perfecting. Make good use of every moment and develop a feeling of pride in all your undertakings. Use your time as you use your money, invest it wisely and expect rewarding dividends. The faculty at Osbourn is standing behind you and will continue to aid you in any manner we car when you call upon us. Each of you has been loyal to the school, and this loyalty will always be returned to you.
