WINNING DAIRY JUDGING TEAM: This group defeated 70 other teams at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, to be selected the number one State Winner. Later they placed third in the National Dairy Judging Contest. They are; Richard Shultz, Bobby Michael, and Stuart McCuin. Each F. F. A member conducts supervised farm enterprises end improvements on his home farm during the year. These involve livestock, poultry, and crops with which he works and on which he keeps financial records of labor, expenses, and income „ The Chapter sponsors and carries out the following objectives: setting out 2,000 pine seedlings; sending delegates and a judging team to the State Rally; sending a dairy team to the National Dairy judging contest; sponsoring a Father--Son Banquet; cooperating with the F. The red rose is the flower by which the club is identified. It represents the vibrant, glowing health which is important to the home.
