 In recognition of the courtesy and kindness bestowed upon us, we the Senior Class of 1955, wish to honor the Merchants of Manassas. As the backbone of our community, this group has stood for honor, justice, sympathetic understanding, and uprightness in all their associations with student organizations and groups. They have generously given their time, money, and interest to help make our projects successful. They have patiently borne our amateur business efforts. Gratefully we acknowledge their support. 3

'Dedicate i It is with great pleasure and sincere appreciation, that we, the Seniors of 1955, dedicate our Hi-Jacket to our parents and to the faculty. With unfathomable devotion and sympathy, with the unswerving counsel and friendship, you have enriched our lives and constantly inspired us. Through the past four years you have been helpful and understanding in guiding us, the class of 1955. Not only to the class as a whole, but to each student, you have been loyal and true friends. Patient and interested in our problems, you have given us fine ideals upon which to mold our lives, and lavished upon us sympathy, kindness, and affection. You have sacrificed in order that we might secure the education necessary to make us more worthwhile citizens of our community. For all these things, we humbly and sincerely thank you. 2
