SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS THE SENIOR CLASS Graduation is nearly upon us and the time has come when we nostalgically look back upon our past years at Osbourn. We cherish each and ever association with our companions and teachers. We remember the good times and those that were not so good . At the beginning of our Freshman year, we were told by many whose high school days were long past, that the years to follow would be among the happiest years of our lives. So with the great enthusiasm displayed everywhere by Fresh¬ men, we began our high school careers. Sophomores never do anything. They are such dull individuals, or so we were told by the mighty Seniors and by a few members of the faculty. We were re¬ minded of the origin of the word which is translated from the Greek as wise fool. As Juniors, we experienced the great lift that comes with the realization that there remains one and only one more year till graduation. We ordered our school rings and with great enthusiasm prepared for the Junior-Senior Prom, which as always, was a tremendous success. At last, we were Seniors and the dizzy whirl of activities in the last year of school began. Dances, dates, school rings, graduation pictures, the arrival of the annual, ordering caps and gowns—these and a multitude of other things filled our leisure moments—some little part of which—we think—was devoted to study. Then that serious and solemn hour was upon us—we attended our Baccalaureate service. A few days passed and electric wtih anticipation, we with forward to receive our diplomas and hear the pronouncement graduates of Osbourn High School. 8
