By way of my crystal ball I go to Milwaukee where the Milwaukee Hawks have just defeated the New York Knit-kerbockers. The high scorer for Milwaukee was that famous Osborne ball player and All-American forward. Bob Smith. Chubby Bagwell is the manager. Next my crystal ball takes me to the Commercial Department of a business college. I find that the typing in- structor is none other than that typing whiz from Osborne, Joyce Bryan, Next I visit one of the Army hospitals here in Formosa. I hnd Joyce Roach and Martha Lamb as nurses and doing a swell job for our boys. My crystal ball takes me to a large high school, Here I find none other than that famous Osborne athlete, Phyllis Fears. She has finished college and is now physical education teacher and girls' basketball cocah. During her four years here, she has coached teams that have won one county, one district, and two state championships. Next my crystal ball takes me to Mexico City where the Pan American Road Race has just been run. The win- ner for the third consecutive time is our own Richard Cunningham and his fast Ford coupe. Somewhere out in the Pacific my crystal ball picks up a ship. It looks as though the Navy got some of the boys of our Senior class. I recognize three of the crew members of the S.S.S. Tonic as being none other than Edw.n An- derson, Leonard Spencer. and Bobby Brown. My crystal ball takes me to Hollywood, California, where I find Laverne Gailey. The famous movie star is jtlsl beginning a new pictured entitled, Life With Luigi, co-starring in this picture is another Osbornite, namely. Wy- nclle Reece. My crystal ball takes me to Atlanta, Georgia, and the campus of Georgia Tech. Here I find none other than Jack Beavers, who is just back from a long stretch in the Air Force. It looks though he is living up to his word and has retuined to complete his education after a stretch in the Air Force. My crystal ball takes me to Lowery Air Force Base, Denver, Colorado. Here I find Major Ralph McBride just back from one hundred missions over China. The images of the Class of '55 fade as the crystal ball completes its task of telling the future.
