Our days were filled with a non-stop schedule of classes and activities. From the time we reached school in the morning until our last class had ended in the afternoon, we had little time for any- thing except studying. Several activities provided a little relaxation for us from our busy schedule, And always there were the few minutes between classes that served as a life saver with a quick bite of candy or a gulp of water. Monday through Friday were the uncer- tain daysg what would take place within these hours sometimes led us to experience much anxiety and exasperation. Oh! those minutes when the English book was missing and the last bell had rung. And what would be the excuse for not having the Latin as- signment done again? Always there was that dreadful phrase pop quiz this hour. Yes, these and others were the things that caused us moments of panic Even through ill the distress the happy times--times that won t be forgotten came seeping through L I I . f x . .' , L y .
