Krones, Thur- ow, Dreager, B. Woldum, S. Olson. The Hi-Times is the high school newspaper published weekly in the Mitchell County Press. It is written by the students under the supervision of joan Markland. The 1954 staff was headed by: Carol Hill, editor-in-chief, Barbara Woldum, news editor, Pat Pint and Nadine johnson, copy editors, Clarissa Brush, feature editor, Barbara Richsmann, ex- change editor, Harlan Hahn, sports editor, and Linda Moss, picture editor. Pat Pint became editor-in-chief the second semester. Other editors were: Linda Moss, news, Nadine johnson, copy, Anne Stearns, picture, Harlan Hahn, sports. FIRST ROW: Moss, Brush, Hill, Pint, Wol- dum, N. Johnson. SECOND: Stearns, Grove, Danforth, Allmann, Lewis, Weber, lilaehn, Markland. THIRD: Alexander, Muller, S. Olson, Lesch, B. jones, Dreager, Biedermann. The Spotlight was headed by Carol Hill and Betty Mayer with joan Markland as faculty advisor. Busi- ner. David Almquist served as picture editor. Quill and Scroll members were David Almquist, Clarissa Brush, and Carol Hill. They attained membership in this international honorary society for high school journalists by serving as editors for one year, writing 200 inches of copy, being in the upper one third of their class scholastically, and being recommended by the chapter adviser and approved by the executive secretary.
