While preparing for the next scene during 1 a practice session for the French play, Sharon Sutton, and Sharon Shockley, in their places, with Lois Nesbit, Patty Parsons, Tom Fulton, and Janice Calkin, peeking from the cur- tain, recall an amusing incident which hap- pened at a previous practice period. EDUCATION STANDARDS BOOST FOREIGN LANGUAGE NEEDS Spelling and defining words in addition to reading and speaking knowledge are highly stressed in French I Mrs Williams feels that the main objectives of French is to present us with a more vivid picture in closer understanding of foreign countries and therr cultural existences She teaches the students also many facts with the help of visual aid and records pertaining to the early background and present day of France plus that of French culture French study of the French language social activities knowledge of food and additional conversation is found in the organization of the French Club Again this year Les Chevaliers Francais QThe French Knightsj as they are called reorganized ILLIET WILLIAMS B S Degree Central Missouri State College -.
