Name ' lesChandelles Color Lavender and White To the Summer Class of 1959, To have reached graduation is a long awaited event and a gratifying one for each member of this class and a happy one for A9 ' s as a group when their class has earned words of commendation like these: Class President, Patti Ogami: It ' s a real privilege to be President of the Summer Graduation Class of 1959. Student Body President, Pam Pinger: The Summer Class of 1959 with their outstanding officers and bright future has made me extremely proud of my part in this school. Faculty Sponsor of Student Government, Mr. Roy Hefner: If the present A9 class is representative of the Youth of America, I will be happy to retire at an early age and give them an opportunity to make the country and the world a better place in which to live. Health Coordinator, Mrs. Martha Wetzel; The A9 class has gone far in making it important to practice the daily habits of good physical and mental health. School Librarian, Mrs. Allie Moore: If they continue their wise and enthusiastic use of library books and materials, I would say that the prospect for progress is bright indeed for the A9 class of ' 59. Head Counselor, Mrs. Neva Herndon: These A9 ' s have al- ready learned many of the important elements of suc- cess-hard work, self discipline and high goals. Dedication We feel deeply privileged to have such an inspiring teacher as Mr. Hefner on our faculty. He has consistently proven to be on excellent classroom teacher in social studies and physical education. Mr. Roy Hefner is also the sponsor of such student gov- ernment activities OS the leadership class, the Senate and the House of Representatives and other numerous student activities. He organizes and supervises Sportsnights, Saturday play- ground, A9 Drop-ins, as well as various after-school sports. For his six years of outstanding and unselfish work for the students of Wright Junior High School, we, the annual staff and leadership class, as representatives of the student body, are proud to dedicate this fourth issue of the Sky- writer to Mr. Roy Hefner.
