ief s lift the veil - american airline, flight ' 58 is now leaving at gate 4 for new york. all aboard for african safari, wright class of spring ' 58 for passage to new york and darkest africa. walking up the ramp, wearing bermuda shorts, are sueann flook, an- nette gres, jill labbee, carol reedy, mary pat coffey, susie peterson, and peggy schulz. ieri beck, karen rice, and sherry christensen are the stewardesses for the flight, the pilot, johnny nitowski, is now telling sam danna, and ray Sebastian the run-way cleaners to move so they can take off. as we pass over Oklahoma, the door opens and out jumps monty johnson( with a parachute), i took the wrong plane, he yells. down in the lounge reading comic books are joe gutierrez, bob whit- ney, bob follmer, ted buergey, jerry kinmont and jim hudson. as we pass over the great lakes, mary buelow, denny graves, mary conder, donna hartsock and joan faulkner are all staring out the window trying to see the sights. now we are nearing new york city, eileen romm, sonya smargon, chiye otsuji, nancee huerta, and marie slattery are all very anxious, they have never seen new york before. as we arrive in new york we see curtis peterson and danny boxwell bringing out the ramp and jim mchale rolling out the red carpet for the passengers. in the airport we see mickey campbell, ken kadan, steve larrabee and jeff strutzel talking to carlo bloke, lindo pendegross and morilyn karp, some of the off-duty pilots and stewardesses. over on the right ore jonine doron, carol sue marr and coryl roe selling popcorn, candy and gum. next to them we see bob williams, doug saxton and alien rose selling tickets for the flight, as we look at the clock on the wall we see it is time to get going to the boat. well, the boot is finally on its way to africa after two hours of complete chaos getting everyone settled and on the boot. seen down in the captain ' s quarters arguing with the navigator, bing Jensen, is mike o ' connor. he ' s complaining to bing because he thinks he could do a better job. swabbing the deck is bill mead and bill steffenn. they seem to be whistl- ing some strange song, oh! — that isn ' t a song that ' s a wolf whistle: leslie millward and robin ullmon just walked by. carol reedy and yvonne lock ore lying on the sun deck in their bikinis trying to get a sun tan. on the badminton court is barbaro kahn, beth remington, and evelyn hirschon, in their short shorts. t 4f i t to-w wiacu '
