' A • yO raJ ' i ' L ' • % over by the pool we see micki esken, linda pope, pam davis, linda corpise, and sharon freed, all gathering around the life guard, jack ' cooley. ail of a sudden over the loud speaker the captain, ken carrington, says, v e are now arriving in africa. everyone get ready to get off the boat! when ashore, the group finds to their delight their guides are jerry and gary benson. jerry tells the group they have to be careful of the natives as don henyen catches an arrow in the arm. the trip is now under way. as they pass bob silcott holding off two- hundred lions, lorry jay is betting marilyn fox on the oddsof silcott com- ing out alive, nelson kokita hops behind kathy taylor for protection, duana davis, accomplished morticiation, is rushing on a call past the group, exchanging greetings, she cheerfully swings from tree to tree, the group descends upon rick healey ' s honest deal trading post as he is being carried off in a stewing pot for cheating the natives, at this point, ronnie modeleski goes rowing by in his canoe as linda morris plays a mandolin, the safari comes to a close as richard harris and ed hendly are mysteriously missing while crossing crocodile infested river. on the trip back on the boat, maryl colley, deanne collins, jeri pur- schell, pat comiso and doreen takvorian are all looking at each other ' s souvenirs because they each got such pretty and unusual shrunken heads. waving hello to ann jane dark. on the trip back lee lampert showing gain are sue withnell, peggy schroeder, and w york to los angeles on the train we see arony and jeanette tuso her shrunken head. as we move alor Ji the Colorado, margaret hulett, annamaria bricca, susan schonhenz, peggy Stewart and carol crook are talking about their experiences on the long lost safari, there is sheri canady, valera Wright, jill sekerman at the candy counter, replacing the stick of gum they chewed all the way back. as the train pulls into union station we see John rivenes, the first one to get off the train, probably remembered that experience in africa when he and blair swanson, jim meyers, and dan brotherson forgot to get off the boat. well, that is the end of our story on the a-9 graduating class of 1958 and their long lost safari! happy hunting carol crook nancy reddin janine doran marilyn burns (fau eaen (4A w(fut a Mt (fc tendatf ffl?l5 l i f f . .
