VAR SITY RESUME C O V E N T R Y Our Riders started out the season in perfect condition. All the plays they had practiced so diligently became successful realities when they waged their opener against Coventry. Score l3- l2. RITTMAN Rittman was the next team to be trampled under by our mighty team land we do mean tramoledll Kenny Fordenwalt went through a few hel- mets, but he stopped his man every time. MANS!-'IE LD MADISON With two victorious feathers in our caps already we were well on the road for a to be defeated successful season. Mansfield Madison was the next team by the Riders. The final score was l2-0. M I L L E R S B U R G Passing-perfect, blocking-perfect, team-perfect, - - yes, that was the description of our team as they fought their way through to victory against Millersburg. CANTON CENTRAL This game will probably be remembered as the most unpleasant game of the season because it rained continuously throughout the afternoon until the last few minutes of the game when the sun very meekly peeked through the clouds. Although our boys were drenched they managed to hold the Canton team to a tie. W A D S W O R T H YAHOO! Our boys Certainly showed Wadsworth they w eren't the same team the Grizzlies had played in 45 . As usual our passing attack left Wadsworth behind at the end of the game. L O U D E N V I L L E The Riders are still going' strong, trampling over each team they encounter. Our line was like a brick wall today and from the looks of the score Loudenville just couldn't get over it. D O Y L E S T O W N Our gallant team braved Dovlestown's veterans and came out on top leaving Doylestown playing the part of the beaten underdog. W O O S T E R Gloom, gloom, 'twas a rainy day for us in more than Nothing was in our favor except the Orrville fans. But never said that we won't be back in there fighting next year. one way. let it be '?6fV1 7,K'Ul9f4 ' 1 Iunior High Football Squad Iunior High Schedule FIRST ROW: P. Rosenbaum, R. McFadden, l..
