Is it true we HAVE MORE FUN? Homecoming was a great activity because our classes united toward a common goal. It involved many of us in its festivities at one time or another. Sheree Myers: We spent three hundred dollars, effort, and time to make Homecoming very special. Especially for Seniors!” Scott Burnum: Johnny Murphy, Lonnie Davidson, and I spent a lot of time getting pizza together, but when we worked on the float, we called each other Pomp 1, Pomp 2, and Pomp 3 because we all pomped together! Vicki Person: There was this one time when Colleen Erickson and I were stuffing napkins into chicken wire and dripping glue all over the place because we were in such a rush. When we got up to walk away, we couldn't move our feet. They were stuck to the floor! Hey Gunter! Don't your parents ever tell you about picking up hitch-hikers?''
