JONES Progress Express BOARD OF TRUSTEES for the 1966- 67 school year consisted of Mrs. Mary Dayton, Mr. Darrell Kister, Mr. Jack Miner, Mrs. Virginia Murphy, and Mr. Joe Wheeler, Jr. The people on this Board have accepted the responsibility of directing and operating both Orovilleand Las Plumas Schools. This position requires much time, effort, and dedication. Our superintendant. Dr. Jones, was appointed by and is responsible to the Board of Trustees. Being the direct representative of the Board, his duties are to adminis- ter the Boards policies. Mr. Lucas, our principal, can often be seen on our campus. Mr. Martin, Director of Student Activities As Director of Student Activities, Mr. Martin coordinates all school functions. Without Mr. Martin, few of Oroville High's activities would be as well organized and successful as those this year. Mr. Schwartz Mr. Johnson, Vice-Principal Vice-Principal, Mr. Johnson, is well-known by most of the student's of Oroville High School. Many times during the year students rely on his advice and approval. 14
