. . .The Golden Memories of the four years of high school shall always remain with each graduating class, and especially the Class of 1966. As the last class to occupy the main building, we will carry with us the memory of those days gone by: the open-air patio, the long passageways filled with hurried students, the library with its creaking floors, and the cafeteria, the meeting place of friends. This old, loved building will probably have been torn down by the time of the publication of this yearbook. We will always remember the atmosphere it once contained within its majestic walls, and the old-fashioned quality it once had. This building means something to each of us, and perhaps brings the fond memory of something sad or good. It is with love and respect that we dedicate this yearbook to the memories of the past years: to two people whom we shall never forget, Bill Winston and Erin Schram, and to the lingering thoughts of our first years at Oroville High School. The Class of 1966 solemnly dedicates the Nugget to the Golden Memories of our four years at Oroville High School. 8
