Six of these twisters are depending on the final grades of the year to give them life membership. Let’s hope they make it! Students who receive 10 grade-points from semester grades are eligible for membership in the California Scholastic Federation. Those who obtain membership four out of their last six semesters receive life membership in the Federation and a gold seal on their diplomas. An A” in a solid (English, social science, math, etc.) earns three points while B’s” in a solid earn one point. An “A” in some non-solid (band, typing, etc.) earns one and a half points, and a B”, one half point. This makes it necessary to earn at least three “A’s” in solid subjects each semester in order to make this select group.
