Students who make the Honor Society four semesters out of six during their test three years of high school receive a gold seal attached to their diploma as a sign of honor. I ney arc entered as Life Members of the Society. If they enter the University of California they automatically become members of the Lower Division Honor Society and remain so long as their grades are good. Students gain this scholastic level required by the Honor Society through a ten point system. n A” in a solid (English, social science, math, etc.) earns three points. B’s” in a solid earn one point. An A” in some non solids (band, typing, etc.), earns 1 points, with a B giving i 2 poim. This makes it necessary to cam at least three “As' in solid subjects each semester order to make this select group.
