Tiger Tales The Tiger Tales was published bi-monthly by two classes and sold for five cents a copy. Mrs. Nystrom instructed the reporters, approximately twelve, and Mr. Prouty was in charge of the editors, a total of seven. The editors were responsible for making out assignment sheets, keeping track of the assignments that did and did not come in, writing the headlines, dummying their pages, and putting the paper to bed (going to the Mercury the night before the Tiger Tales was printed and helping (?) the printer set up the stories in the desired positions). The teams of salesmen included members from both classes who went hopefully from room to room. The official annual photographer was Forrest Passmore of Forrest Studio in Oroville, who worked in co-operation with the annual photography editor, Charlotte Welty, in taking the numerous pictures included in the Nugget. Forrest also took many of the pictures which appeared in the Tiger Tales.
