Seniors: The country you live in is unique in the history of the world because of its great material advances. Many minds have tried to analyze the reason since other countries have had most of the native resources that we have. When everything has been added up, we have one thing none of the rest have had—that one thing is our freedom to think and to do without interference from any outside source. There are no shackles on our minds. This is a tremendous heritage—think upon it, preserve it. Many pressures will be put upon you to forsake it. It is the keystone to our way of life and it has brought the greatest happiness ever known to mankind. This school hopes that it has done its part in passing this knowledge to you and an appreciation of what it means. If not we have wasted four years of opportunity. Good luck—may all good things be your lot in life. JAMES C.
