FALL STUDENT BODY ACTIVITIES Once again student body activities have been hampered by made quate facllltles at the beglnnmg of this school year Our enrollment ment had increased to the point that it was impossible to hold student body meetings and rallys m any place blg enough where everyone could be seated Despite the lack of facilities after the electron of five enthusrastlc yell leaders the rooting sec tlon at football and basketball games displayed a fine show of good sportsmanship Our teams have been the kind this year that a school might well be proud of The yell leaders have worked hard to prepare good rallies and liven school Splfll Rooters buses took enthusiastic sports fans to out of town games Color was added to our foot ball field when the active executive com mittee took charge of decorating the goal posts and marking all SCCIIOHS for the rooters and band The school was fortunate ln hav mg a new conceslson booth at the football field this year The executive committee took e responsxbihtv of the booth also The Student Body sponsored a benefit movie for ,-I, t h e community ' chest and collected 3115 for this worthy fc:- orgamzation A drxwe for the March of Dimes was also undertaken if N any among t he Student Body An especially successful held just before the T hanksgxving vacation The Block O and the G A A took charge of this event Kangaroo Court also conducted by the Block O was held in the gym at the close of color week before the big Chico Game It was enjoy ed by students and teach ers alike At last the revision of our out of-date school con sutuuon has been complet ed bv the Executive Com mittee and was approved bv the Student Body at a Q special election d ca.- Considerm the crow ed condmogs around C:-7 school the first semester was a fairly active one for the majority of the Stu dent Bodv Nl C 'CNQ QlNglxOO . .
