Jack Storm was also a senator at the Youth in Government held at Sacramento. Stuart Slade was appointed to attend the Asilomar Congress at Monterey. Y-Day in Hollywood was spot-lighted by the U, C. The club sent Nickie Nichols to the Y. M. C. A. Asilomar Conference near Monterey in November. They also se- lected Charlene Burkdoll as their delegate to Youth in Government in Sacramento. The Tri Hi-Y participated in Christ- mas caroling at the Alta Hospital in Dinuba. They sent powdered milk to Missionary Reverend Sweeney and raised money for their Y. M.C. A. camp Tule- quoia. They also had several hen par- ties and co-sponsored with the Hi-Y, a Masquerade Ball. The finances for these projects were raised by having cake sales and a con- cession at a basketball game. Members of the club have also at- 4. tended the monthly council meetings of i different Y clubs in the county held at the Y office in Visalia.
