To the people of the Orono district who made our school a reality the senior class would like to dedicate the 1952 Orion in appreciation of the fine educational future you have made possible for generations to come. A new star shines brightly on the educational horizon.......... Orono High School. One of the lights from this star is the first yearbook of the school, the 1952 Orion. The staff of this book, under the capable supervision of Mrs. Brooks Mc-Clintock, has chosen astronomy as its theme. The dictionary meaning of our title Orion is bright star. We are sure, that with the opportunities offered, this star will grow brighter and brighter each year. 2
