Bucksport 12 0 The Rlots cllnched the little P V C trophy wlth a two touchdown vcrdxct ovel the Golden Bucks on a cold and drlzzly mornmg Picked to lose the Crxmsons cont1ad1cted the scrlbes for the thlrd tlme Jack Wey mouth spal kplug all year gathered ln a punt at mldfield and txght roped the remalnlng half century to glV6 Orono an early lead The Riots con tlnued to dominate the play and finally salted away the verdlct m the thxrd perlod when an enraged Orono llne cleared the way for Freddy Wallace who galloped 60 yards through center for a T D Thls play followed a hlgh ly questlonable eJect1on of Don Hashey from the game Hal Pepper was lost to the team for the remamder of the season as the result of a tricky arm mjury suffered shortly after thls play Th1s game was obvlously hotly contested and the vlctory was extremely sweet for the college towners Brewer 0 27 The Witches upset the slugglsh Rlots on a very hot Halloween afternoon The CTIIIISODS playlng far below thelr usual brand of ball presented only one major threat early ln the thlrd perlod Weymouth led a qulck march to the Brewer 13 only to lose the ball on downs This loss gave the Scarlets 1 hnal record of five wms two losses and one tle AA l Kindness is the language that the deaf can hear and the dumb understand.

All men are born equal, but it's what they are equal to later on that counts.
