A5 il ll JLJUOKS FRUM THE IINSJUDIE Orleans initiated its new bowl shaped gym on February 14 with the O. H. S, - English game. It was a gala homecoming night for alumni and friends, who thrilled at the completion of this longed for goal. Comfortable bleachers provide seats for 2, 000 persons in the 130 by 154 room. Above them, tempo- rary bleachers can be set on the broad concrete walkway. Vision obstructed by a post is a thing of the past as the view of the floor is completely unobstructed. A good P. A. system, tiled dressing rooms, attractive public rest rooms, concession booths, and the tunnel ramp which ends the need for players or officials to mingle with the spectators - all these and much more - add up to a gym which should be adequate for years to come.

I,t?,!W1iL?.! fa The science room is equip- ped to provide 24 individual working spaces each having electricity, gas outlet, water and sink. A fume expeller should keep the place socially acceptable. There are two storage rooms equipped with cabinets. A germinating table and aquarium will be of use to biology students. IITIX-L 'T' 'l 7352: Z? The wide hall which runs between the classrooms and dressing rooms is well lighted during the day from the sky lights in the ceiling and double glass doors at either end. The 137 lockers provide individual space for students wraps and books. V 3 , V. I y ...,y r Two other classrooms in the new part have been assigned to the English and Commercial Departments. The two rooms are identical, about 25x30 feet in size, the east wall being mostly glass with shelves run- ning the length of the wall under it. Both rooms will have new furniture,
