CAROL JOHNSON MARY BETH WHEELER GLAMOUR GALS Three of our O.H,S, girls have entered some interesting competition this year and have carried off honors. Not all of these activities were actually a part of school work, but they all brought O.H.S. some publicity. Q s , I, 1 f LINDA HODSON Carol Johnson, upper left, won the Miss Bedford and the Miss Indiana titles in the state Roller Rink Contest. The latter entitled her to go to Miami, Florida, as a participant in the National Contest. Mary Beth Wheeler, lower left, who has twirled with the O.H,S. band for two years, was one of the twirlers in the Tangerine Bowl at Orlando, Florida, Linda Hodson, O,H,S. Drum Majorette for the last three years, placed first in the District Twirling Contest at Salem and first in the State Contest at Butler University.

The Orleana Staff and Reporters were simply dying to move into the new building, but the ORLEANA copy has been prepared in old Room 12. However, the staff pictures were taken in the new English Room with chairs and tables carried down especially. This new room is like the new Commercial Room. Rubber based tile floors, modern blackboards and bulletin boards, and adequate lighting make these attractive, efficient rooms. Both will have new furniture.
