Yearbook Team It may be interesting to know, that one of the largest extracurricular activities each year is the production of our yearbook. It begins in September—the adver- tising, circulation, and photo teams get busy—and ends up “???” with the final proofreading by the eagle-eyed editors and our efficient advisor, Mrs. England. No letter is given for this effort. But in years to come, when most school life is forgotten, the yearbook will be available to refresh memories and to settle argu- ments. Contrary to opinion, the yearbook is a collective ef- fort entailing work from not only those shown on this page, but others who have contributed their time and efforts. For example: Glenn Austin supplied many of the action shots in this book. Our school photog- rapher was Mr. Farland. Meeting the deadline of a yearbook requires much work outside of school. Many nights team members labored long hours; some even enjoyed a seven hour session on that crucial Saturday before the deadline. We—Tom, Mary, Tressa, Jan, Sandy, Carol, Pam, and Mrs. England—had a one-hour break at noon, tho, for sandwiches, potato chips, and cocoa. (Jan forgot her lunch but, we shared.) Mary brought her scrapbook and we had a bang-up time looking at our classmates “way back then”. “We are proud of our yearbook because we have made several radical changes and are pleased with the re- sults. We hope you are . . . —Tom Leonard
